Naed Jasmin Désiré

Naed Jasmin Désiré was born and raised in Haiti. She is the founder of Cabinet Jasmin, Desire et Associes launched in March 2017. She is also an activist passionate about serving the collective well-being. She holds a law degree from Paris XII University Val de Marne, a master’s degree in International Law from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University, a Master’s degree in International Trade Law from Paris X Nanterre University, and a Master’s in International Development Management from Laval University, Canada.

Over the past twelve years, she has developed skills in the area of promotion and facilitation of investments, improvement of the business climate,  development of the regulatory and legislative framework for public-private partnerships in Haiti, commercial arbitration, and in the field of investment and public law as a Legal Advisor in institutions such as the Center for Investment Facilitation (CFI), the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), as a consultant to the Inter-American Development Ban (IDB) and the World Bank (WB) and as an advisor in ministerial offices such as the Office of the Minister in charge of relations with Parliament, the Prime Minister Office and the Ministry of Tourism.

Naed combines several hats and demonstrates leadership, dedication, and dynamism in various initiatives, in line with her commitment to Haiti’s collective well-being and socio-economic development. 

Former Chief Editor of Ayibopost; Member of the Board of Directors of the Fonkoze Foundation fighting against extreme poverty in Haiti from 2018 to 2021. Current Vice-President of the entrepreneur association Sa Se Biznis Pam supporting advocacy for the growth of SMEs and enterprise social responsibility; Founder Member of the civil society platform “Kafou Lespwa”, working for the systemic transformation of Haitian society and promoting values such as collaboration, inclusiveness, and humility.

She is currently the Marketing, Communication, and Outreach Manager at the Haitian American Chamber of Commerce of Florida (HACCOF) working towards the prosperity of the broader Haitian community.
