Sophia Pierrelus

Sophia Pierrelus is a dynamic entrepreneur and former Secretary of the Mouvement Patriotique des Haïtiens Conscients (MPHC), with extensive experience in leadership roles, including serving as an Executive Board Member and Public Relations Director for ODIHA. Currently, she serves as the Regional Director for HDPAC.

As the owner of Faveur and Company, a consulting firm, and the founder of the New American Cultural Center (NACC) in Columbus, Ohio, she is committed to empowering immigrant communities and fostering cultural integration. She also established the Haitian Community in Springfield, Ohio group, creating a vital online space for connection and support.

As a graduate of the City of Columbus’ New American Leadership Academy (NALA), she completed their professional development program with a focus on civic engagement for new American residents. Her educational background includes a degree in Physical Therapy from New York City and a Bachelor’s in Organizational Leadership and Management.

In her role as a housing coordinator consultant in Columbus, Ohio, she works to create accessible housing solutions that help communities thrive. She is deeply passionate about serving as a Community Resource Specialist and advocate, dedicated to empowering individuals and fostering sustainable community growth.
