The Haitian American Foundation for Democracy (HAFFD), the American University (AU), the Center for Latin American and Latino Studies (CLALS), and Roots of Development co-created a series of panel discussions focusing on current issues relevant to Haiti, the Haitian diaspora, and actors involved in development in Haiti.

How can these lessons be applied to a strategy that not only disarms and pacifies gangs—but also builds government institutions and functionality, and combats corruption and criminality long-term?
