Emmanuela Douyon

Emmanuela Douyon is a Haitian development policy and projects specialist and activist. She founded POLICITÉ, a boutique consulting firm and think tank. She has worked across various sectors with different organizations in Haiti and the USA, where she contributed to strategic leadership, project management & evaluation, communication, research, and advocacy.

Emmanuela stands for economic and social justice. As a leading member of the Collective NOUPAPDOMI, she was a figure in the accountability movement called Petrochallenge, tackling the biggest corruption scandal in Haiti. Emma is a feminist, sought-after public speaker, and op-ed writer. Emmanuela has briefed international organizations, the US Congress, and the United Nations on the situation in Haiti.

She is fluent in Haitian Creole, French, English, and Mandarin. Emmanuela earned a Master’s in Development Studies and a B.A. in Economics.
