CORRINE A. PAUL

Corinne A. Paul is the Senior Policy Advisor for Civil and Political Rights at American Jewish World Service. In this role, she advocates for U.S. Government policies that advance human rights in AJWS's partner countries. She comes to AJWS from CARE USA, where she helped influence the U.S.'s work in global health by improving support for health workers and increasing women’s health access internationally.

Previously, she was a foreign policy legislative aide in the U.S. Senate. In that role, Corinne was responsible for issues related to Latin America and the Caribbean and much of South and Southeast Asia, as well as migration, gender, global health, and international development. Prior to her time in the Senate, she worked for a nonprofit organization in Les Cayes, Haiti. Corinne earned her Master of Public Policy with a specialization in international development policy, and a Bachelor of Arts in Government & Politics with minors in International Development and in U.S. Latina/o Studies from the University of Maryland.
