HAFFD at Haitian Ladies Weekend 2026

Advancing Connection, Coordination & Collective Action

Hosted by the Haitian Ladies Network, the weekend brings together Haitian women across generations, professions, and communities for connection, learning, leadership, culture, wellness, entrepreneurship, and celebration.

As part of this broader experience, HAFFD/ADC will join Haitian-American organizations, advocates, and community leaders for three connected opportunities focused on advocacy, civic engagement, and collective action.

This collaborative effort brings together Sant La, the National Haitian American Elected Officials Network (NHAEON), HAFFD/ADC, Avanse Ansanm, the Haitian American Professionals Coalition (HAPC), the Florida Immigrant Coalition (FLIC), the Haitian Lawyers Association, and other community partners and leaders, working alongside the Haitian Ladies Network.

Three Moments. One Continuum.

FRIDAY | CONNECT

Haitian Women Leaders Strategic Roundtable

Haitian women leaders from community organizations and civic institutions will come together for a strategic conversation focused on immediate concerns, longer-term priorities, and opportunities for collaboration.

The roundtable will help connect existing efforts, strengthen relationships and peer support, and identify concrete next steps.

What already exists? What can we build together? How do we move from concerns to collective action?
SATURDAY | ENGAGE

From Fear. To Power. To Action.

A focused plenary segment will address TPS, immigration, advocacy, and community mobilization, connecting critical information with practical opportunities for engagement.

Throughout the weekend, participants will also have access to advocacy resources, participating organizations, volunteer opportunities, and ways to take action.

The goal: turn information into participation.
SUNDAY | ACT

Community Town Hall — From Conversation to Collective Action

The weekend’s advocacy conversations will come together in a Community Town Hall addressing interconnected issues affecting Haitian-American communities, including Immigration & TPS, Economic Affordability, Education, Voting Rights & Civic Engagement, and Haiti & the Diaspora.

Participants will help identify emerging priorities and explore pathways for continued collaboration and action.

What can each of us contribute—and what can we accomplish together?
